Professor George S.H. YEO

Department of Maternal Fetal Medicine, KK Women's & Children's Hospital (Singapore)

Prof George SH Yeo is the Chief of Obstetrics, Division of Obstetrics & Gynaecology at KK Women’s & Children’s Hospital. He is the Director of the Antenatal Diagnostic Centre and the Head, Department of Maternal Fetal Medicine. He is Professor of Duke-NUS Graduate Medical School and also Clinical Associate Professor of Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore.

Prof Yeo is instrumental in developing prenatal screening programmes in Singapore, set up and is responsible for the screening ultrasound programme in KK hospital, which delivers more than one third of Singapore’s births.

He is active in the teaching and training of obstetrics ultrasound related educational programmes in Singapore, organized the First International Scientific Meeting of ISUOG in 2004, started the first ISUOG-Outreach Course in 2005 and directs the programmes at the ISUOG Teaching and Training Centre in Singapore. He has particular interest in First Trimester Screening and prenatal screening in Cardiac Malformations.

Prof Yeo has more than 160 scientific publications and more than 30 abstracts in indexed journals.
