KK WOMEN'S & CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL (Singapore)
Dr Thia Wee Hong Edwin is a consultant in the Department of Maternal Fetal Medicine at KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital. He is an Adjunct Assistant Professor in the Office of Clinical and Academic Faculty Affairs of Duke NUS Graduate Medical School, Singapore. He is also a clinical tutor for the Yong Loo Lin Medical School, NUS and Clinical Physician Faculty Member, Obstetrics & Gynaecology for SingHealth’s Residency Program. He is also a Core Faculty Member for the Singhealth Transitional year Residency Program. Dr Thia graduated from the National University of Singapore and subsequently obtained his Membership of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (MRCOG) and the Master of Medicine in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in 2007. Dr Thia has a special interest in Fetal Medicine especially in prenatal diagnosis and prenatal diagnostic as well as therapeutic procedures. He runs the Fetal Medicine Clinic, Birth Defect Clinic as well as the High Risk Pregnancies Clinic. He is a trainer for the Combined Obstetric Resuscitation and Emergencies (CORE) Training Course. He is also a trainer and lecturer for Basic Obstetric Ultrasound Accreditation Programme for the O&G Basic and Advanced Specialist Trainees.
