Philippe JEANTY (United States)


Dr. Philippe Jeanty, MD, PhD is currently the Medical Director of Inner Vision Women’s Ultrasound in Nashville, TN, United States and was the former director of Ultrasound at Women’s Health Alliance. Dr Jeanty is Board Certified with both Belgian Certification and with The American Board of Radiology since 1982 and 1985 respectively. He is also a Resident, Fellow, Assistant Professor, Consultant and Associate Professor at Yale University and Vanderbilt University School of Medicine.

Dr Jeanty was educated in the Free University of Brussels (Brussels, Belgium) and graduated with top honours in 1978. He went on to obtain his PhD in Radiological Sciences on the subject of Fetal Biometry from the Free University of Brussels in 1985. The materials covered in his PhD are now being used world-wide in diagnostic ultrasound equipment.

Dr Jeanty has authored, co-authored and contributed to numerous books and is a contributor to more than 100 different publications (as a first author, co-author and other manuscripts) and is the founder and editor of TheFetus.net publication. He has given more than 1000 lectures globally and is renowned worldwide for his contribution.


Dr Jeanty was born in Congo in the middle of the past century and owing to the difficult circumstances during that period, developed a syndrome of “failure-to-stop-thriving” which contributes very much to his achievements today.
